Street Food Block Party

Here is a video that My City Lives did at the Street Food Block Party in May at the Evergreen Brick Works. The event was put on by the Toronto Underground Market and Ontario Food Trucks and was a great way to celebrate street food in the city. Despite the long lines at the event I was having a blast soaking up the vibrant and fun atmosphere. After all, there were over 3,000 people there and over 30 vendors. I was in foodie heven. I have to say that my favourite vendor was the last one I tried at the end. I had the shrimp sammie from Busters Sea Cove who was debuting their new truck that night and has been known for being a popular staple at the St. Lawrence Market. I’m looking forward to more events like this and street food becoming more available as the foodie movement continues in Toronto.
